Need to get away from it all, this weekend? Then head slap bang into the centre of the city for an all new shopping experience: No Noise at Selfridges. In partnership with meditation gurus, Headspace, this is one off chance to shop in an unbranded, mobile phone free, tranquil setting – then hit the Silence Room, Harry Gordon’s retreat for tired shoppers first created way back in 1909. Just don’t go ommm about it.

It’s a Bowie Bonanza at the Vinyl Factory in Chelsea this weekend. So dig out your 70’s leathers (optional) and head to David Bowie: ‘Nacht Musik’ to check out the ch-ch-ch changing
musical legacy of a modern icon. The folks at the Vinyl Factory are showcasing some incredible 7″ Bowie singles. Free entry and prints are available to buy. A wuzza wuzza!

And now, a heart warming comedy drama based on true events during George VI and Queen Elizabeth’s visit to Upstate New York in 1939. Hyde Park on Hudson, starring Bill Murray as Franklin D. Roosevelt himself, tells the story of a turbulent love affair, a little politics and feeding hot dogs to the King and Queen of England. Whatever next?

With a miming action asking if you’d like a beer,
