Something for the weekend, Rolling Along, Cockroach Tours and a Life of Pi. Your W/E to-do list…

Watch and enjoy The Theory of Everything: our short film about cosmology, particle physics and… love. Plus, watch to the end and you could win a trip for two to see the Northern Lights! See our Facebook Page for more details.

After two weeks of overdoing it on the pies and sherry, the title of our first theatre recommendation of 2013 seems most apt. Merrily We Roll Along at Meiner Chocolate Factory is a chronologically confused caper which starts at the end and rolls back through the years. If only!

For a slightly creepier date this weekend, head to the London Science Museum for a Cockroach Tour. Explore the science museum through the eyes of a coachroach. Yes, that’s right – because you’ll be dressed as one (no need to make your own outfit as they are provided). And yes, your bum will probably look big in this.

Taking us a million miles away from London in January, the new adaptation of Yan Martel’s bestselling Life of Pi is a fantastical adventure. Join shipwrecked Pi as he drifts to shore with his one remaining – and rather hostile – companion Richard Parker, the Bengal tiger – imagine that in 3D!

The next Lovestruck Laissez-Faire is at The Hoxton Pony, Weds 9 Jan. It’s also fun, free to attend and all are welcome to pop along (even non-Lovestruckers). So tell all your single friends/colleagues and have a drink or two at London’s hottest free ticket in town.

Wishing you a beautiful, awesome, incredible, amazing New Year,

The Lovestruck Lovebot
