Celebs who dress the same: A step too far?

Should celeb couples dress alike?

Should celeb couples dress alike?

Love makes people do the strangest things, and it seems the celebrity world are no exception. Showing the world they are taking their romance to a whole new level, they match wardrobes, shoes and in some cases, even hairstyles. Who remembers Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow’s coordinating cropped ‘dos in the mid 90s?

Last week Kerry Katona was spotted out with her fiancé George Kay and the pair donned matching grey tracksuits and hi-top trainers and they openly kissed and cuddled. Conveniently a bunch of photographers were there to catch their every OTT smooch, of course. Cheesy? Tacky? Or plain weird?

We take a look at the celebs that dress like their partners:

  1. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian: Kimye love to coordinate colours and outfits. Apparently they have even spent a whopping $4million on his ‘n’ hers designer clobber. From monochrome, to leather, these two show off their matchy-matchy style wherever they go. They better get their wallets out for the imminent arrival of Kimye junior.
  2. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher: They might be one of Hollywood’s most high-profile couples but Ashton and Mila love the dressed-down look. Whether it’s hoodies for walking the dogs or NYC t-shirts at football games, their closets are perfectly in sync.
  3. George Clooney and Stacy Keibler: This power couple likes to look sleek, sexy and sophisticated, often styling themselves in black and um, black. Bonus points for their sun-kissed skin, of course.
  4. Kate Middleton and Prince William: Sweater? Check. Blazer? Check. Designer sunnies? Check. The royal couple often synchronizes their preppy style and look adorable.
  5. David and Victoria Beckham: They are now the King and Queen of fashion and always stylish but that wasn’t always the case. There are a fair few fashion skeletons in the Beckhams walk-in closets, including the time they wore co-coordinating leather catsuits to a Donatella Versace bash in 1998. Ouch!
