GroundnutDate Out of Africa:

Here at Lovestruck towers, we’re regularly filling the search box looking for eateries of fine international cuisine. But tap in ‘African food’ and the search engines (bizarrely) start to scratch their heads in bewilderment. Now however, lovers of African food can prepare to grind their nuts with culinary joy as three lovely chaps from South London, Duval, Jacob and Folayemi, have filled this (frankly unforgiveable) gap in the market with the Groundnut Cookbook, an African foodie bible stuffed with colourful and flavourful traditional and updated recipes. Familiarise yourself with Yam, Plantain, Jollof sauce and Pan-fried Okra then stock up on fresh ingredients from ‘Proud To Be African’ at East Street market in Walworth. Hurry home and impress your date by stirring up a some authentic African lovin’ at your place.

What happens when you fall for someone but then realise you’re not quite on the same page in terms of views and values? This is the dilemma facing rugged Bull Rider Luke (Scott Eastwood….guess the famous Daddy?) and city gal Sophie (Britt Robertson) who luckily both have Ira (Alan Alda) on hand to feed them a good old fashioned slice of home truth and inspiration based on his decades of dedication to his beloved wife (the film run the love stories of both couples). Everyone needs an Ira, but will it all be enough for Luke and Sophia to successfully ride life’s love rodeo? You’ll just have to go see…

NadalHit A Date Ace: Wimbledon 29th June – 12th July, Church Road, Wimbledon SW19 5AG

Quicker than an Andy Murray Ace, Wimbledon is back. Yes, it’s that time of year when half the UK population hit the tennis courts thinking they could smash it like the seeded ones. Enjoy some thoroughly impression tennis, Murray Mania, Nadal’s (k)nicker dilemmas, strawberries & cream (how much?!) and Champers all to an orchestra of grunts, (thhwacks) and groans. If Centre Court tickets are unobtainable, you’re bound to find seats at one of the 22 others. You could sit at one of the many on-site bars with your date and celeb-watch, hang about on Henman-Hill for your possible 5 seconds of TV fame or linger at the Centre Court exits towards the end of the day for a possible freebie ticket. Either way, a day at Wimbledon could score you Game, Set and Match! Ticket Info
