5 ways to spice up a date!

Spice

Slam it to the left (if you’re havin’ a good time) shake it to the right (if you know that you feel fine) You weren’t a Spice girls fan? OK, but if you’ve got that weekend feeling and a hot date on the horizon, here are five sizzling ideas to help spice up a date…

1. Things that make you go ‘ummmm

You don’t always have to go out on a date, and no it’s not dull. Relaxing, yes and this is good. Stock up on the vino or beer, your favourite dvd and if you don’t trust your cooking skills,  select a few indulgent treats from the local supermarket. Make a  staying in date  all about the feel good factor. Dim the lights, light some sensuous candles, put on your favourite tunes and pick food that reaches the parts others don’t such as naughty desserts (one spoon) that make you go ‘ummmmm.’ Crème brûlée and chocolate mousse since you’re asking.

2. Park life

Sometimes, the best things in life are free. Take yourself, a date, a blanket (ok and maybe a bottle of plonk) then head off  to a beautiful parks one balmy (not rainy) evening. Come the dusk, lay back and stare up at the sky and share dreams, laughs, plans and precious time together. We can’t promise city skies will reveal a blanket of stars, but you both could catch your own…

3. Smells like teen spirit

Head back to your carefree teens and pick a date that you enjoyed way back when. Anything that brings back fond happy memories makes for a great date. Try roller-skating, fair ground attractions, test driving a really expensive car you have no intention of buying or set yourselves a few dares that must be completed before the night is through. Make the forfeits something cheeky like a twenty second full on smooch, for example…

4. London to Ibiza

Two left feet? Who cares. Hit a night club that blasts out tunes guaranteed to ramp up the feel good factor (were the 80’s or 90’s you thing?) Getting the adrenalin pumping instantly lifts the mood and makes you more receptive to fun and spice and all things nice. Or, if you think you can take the heat, get up close and personal with a sizzlingly saucy Argentine tango class. Ooh er.

5. Sex on the beach

Whoa there no, we didn’t mean literally but anything goes in summer we guess. We’re talking cocktails. Pick a good bar then snigger behind your menu as you work your way thorough the saucily named concoctions on offer – trying to keep a dead straight face when you request them. Share straws, guess the others ingredient, create your own sexy names, flirt like mad and maybe throw a little love in the mix?

Hi-ci-ya hold tight!  Can’t believe we just said that.
